The Rose Bowl!

On New Years Day we went to the Rose Bowl. I'm not even going to discuss the game - but the whole experience was awesome. As far as Rose Bowls go, Ski and I have been to 2 of them and Michigan has lost both times. We've come to the conclusion that we jinx them. We left for Pasadena at 2:00am (just in time for the bars to close and all the drunks were on the road!) and we got there at 4:30am. People were already cooking and drinking that early. (I however went to sleep in the car! Ski was too excited to sleep!) It was so cold in the morning but as the day went on the temperature rose to a nice 65 degrees. We were parked next to some USC fans who were so nice. They gave Ski shots of Tequila and fed us Carne Asada. The seats we had for the game were amazing. It was like being right down on the field!!! Though Michigan didn't do too well it was still a great time. Unfortunately Ski lost a bet to his friend at work and now has to wear a USC jersey all day one day. He wasn't thrilled about it at all!
