The Storm - Jacqui's Team!!!

Jacqui had a game today. They lost 11 - 8 but it was still a really good game. She is Miss Little League these days and has already handed me her Christmas list for this year...all she wants from us is a bat, a bat bag, a batting helmet, baseballs and new cleets.


She's got a good eye and never swings at anything too high or too low. Coach Gordy makes them run 5 laps for every high ball they swing at. We are just happy that she is swinging finally - she was a little gun shy at first and always stepped out of the box but is now a good hitter!


Here she is stealing second! Of 11 boys and 3 girls - the coaches tell me she is the fastest on the team.

Playing at Center - she also plays second sometimes.



You can tell both Jacqui and Matt LOVE to play baseball. They go to the park and play catch or practice hitting for HOURS at a time. I'll look outside and the entire neighborhood is back there playing with them. They are very dedicated!
